A1. You may reach us Monday through Friday from 8:00 am to 12:00 midnight EST and Saturday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm EST.

A2. MDL was founded in 1998. Through the years it has expanded the number of tests that it performs and its menu of testing options. Today it serves as a reference laboratory to physicians, laboratories, and hospitals located throughout the United States.
Q3. Does MDL have a Research & Development Department?
A3. MDL’s R&D Department is comprised of experts in the fields of Molecular Biology, Immunology, Virology, Microbiology, Mycology, Pharmacogenomics, Antimicrobial Resistance and Oncology. It is devoted to developing newer and more sensitive and specific tests and to developing diagnostic tests for drug resistant pathogens, bio-markers for diseases and developing possible targets for treating diseases. Once a new test is created and validated by MDL’s R&D department, it is then made available for ordering by physicians. In addition to developing and validating new clinical diagnostic tests, the R&D Department also publishes research projects in peer-reviewed journals, presents scientific information at international symposia, and performs contractual research work for major commercial, governmental, and academic organizations.
