Flow Cytometry

Flow cytometry is an advanced technology used to identify and quantify mixed populations of immune cells that have been suspended in fluid as they pass through the path of multiple laser beams. It can provide insight into changes in immune cell populations in individuals over time, as well as changes in disease or infection status. Evaluating T, B, and NK-cell lymphocyte subsets is of diagnostic utility in suspected immunodeficiency. This advanced testing provides rapid, reliable test results to aid in screening for immunodeficiency.
