Medical Diagnostic Laboratories, L.L.C. and HUMIGEN, L.L.C. are located in Hamilton, New Jersey just off of interstate 195, about 15 miles for Princeton and 5 miles from the State Capitol.  We are also conveniently located between Philadelphia (40 miles) and New York City (60 miles) which is easily accessible by train or major interstate, making available numerous academic, cultural, sporting and other activities.  We are situated within the Einstein’s Alley High Technology Corridor, an economic development initiative for central New Jersey that promotes, develops, and maintains our states exceptional reputation for having a large number of successful startup and established pharmaceutical and biotechnology companies.    

MDL has six divisions with the Research and Development Department: Antigen Discovery, Antimicrobial Resistance, Molecular and Cellular Biology, Molecular Diagnostic Development, Pharmacogenomics, and Virology. HUMIGEN is comprised of two research laboratories, Genetic Immunology and Genomic Immunoepidemiology.  These laboratories are available for students to evaluate via laboratory rotations and subsequently conduct their thesis research.  To find more information regarding the individual laboratory research interests and research projects, see the “Laboratory Research” page.
